About the Guide

A love of fishing and the desire to share his knowledge of the sport lead Lindy to the “Guide” business.

In 1988, Lindy began guiding on Lake Ray Roberts in an 18-ft. canoe (that was before motors were allowed on the lake). This full-time guide works strictly on Lake Ray Roberts and he has the distinction of guiding there since Roberts was impounded.

You can hear Lindy on the Texas Fishing Radio show with Brian Hughes on KRLD-AM 1080 and the Texas State network on Saturday morning between 5 to 7 am and on Sunday between 5-6 am for a live fishing report and weekly update. Promotionals and Seminars Lindy is well know in the area and he is a regular participate at the Dallas Market Hall Boat Shows, North Texas Tackle & Outdoor Show, and Area Retail Outlets. He is not bashful and can share a few fishing stories along with teaching fishing techniques. He enjoys teaching a beginner how to cast a level wind or spinning reel.
