About the Lake

Lake Ray Roberts is a 29,350-acre man-made impoundment located just off I-35, approximately one hour North of Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas.

Texas Parks & Wildlife or Corps of Engineers controls the area surrounding the lake.

There is no water front development or private access to the lake. There are 7 boat ramps, 2 campgrounds, and 1 Marina all overseen by TPWD.
